Lunch

So the first thing is lunch. I bring my lunch to school. Some tips to make you lunch healthier and more earth friendly are…
· So the obvious one is buy local
· Buy food that doesn’t spoil quickly in bulk
o It uses less packaging and you can control the portion size
§ Such as chips-don’t buy the individual bags buy the family size bag, and it SAVES MONEY!
· Use paper, glass, tin foil, and the best are reusable plastic containers. Do not use plastic bags, bottles, and plastic rap. They cannot be recycled and they take so long to decompose in a land fill that scientist don’t even have an accrete timing for it. Paper, glass, and tin are CHEEPER and easier to recycle than plastic. And obviously reusable are the best option not only because nothing gets thrown away, but they also SAVE MONEY.
· It makes me sad to see many of kids eating their lunch and next to them in rapper after rapper when they could have easily avoided it.

Just a random hint while we are talking about food.
When making tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and anything that requires boiled water, only boil the amount of water needed.
Boiling extra water waists water, gas or electricity, and MONEY.

what is this about?

Green…it’s easier than you think! If every person just took little steps to change their habits to make there daily routine a little more green imagine the amount of carbon admissions we would be able to reduce. This is a blog not to tell you how to change your life to make it green but rather to help you change little things around you to help this planet we call home and want the future generations to call home as well.
I know there are thousands of websites out there to tell you how become more environment friendly, but this blog brings these issues to you from a whole different perspective. I’m not a green angel. I sometimes do things that I can do differently, but I’m working on it. When I things around me that inspire a new way of doing it in a more “green” way I’ll share it on this blog. Everything green will that I come up with will end up here.

I will also be pointing out how you can save money by going green.
